Ingredients:

  • Lemon – 2 fruits
  • Ginger – 1 large root
  • Water – 1 L
  • Cucumber – 1 big

if you prefer sweet taste, add agave nectar or maple syrup – 1 tbsp

Also try to make that with pineapple instead of lemon. Yummy!

Preparation:

Slice lemon, cucumber. Peel ginger with knife or how you want (here some really nice advices for peeling ginger), after slice him too. Pour water to your bottle or carafe add our ingredients, keep them for about 30 minutes in fridge.

Homemade spicy bread recipe

What can make your kitchen homier than the smell of fresh-baked bread?

Homemade bread

Ingredients:

  • Dark rye flour – 1 1/2 cup
  • Wheat flour – 2/3 cup
  • Rye malt – 1/4 cup
  • Malted barley flour – 1/2 cup
  • Molasses – 5 tbsp
  • Compressed yeast – 1 tbsp
  • Coriander – 4 tbsp
  • Cumin – 3 tbsp
  • Sugar – 4 tsp
  • Salt – 1.5 tsp
  • Olive oil + sunflower oil – 5 tbsp

Preparation:

Blending cumin, coriander.

Mix the dry ingredients together, add warm water (350 g), the other ingredients and knead dough by hands until it easily comes off the hands. Leave the dough for about 5 minutes. Then form it into dough balls or whatever you want. Put them on a baking tray and wait for dough to swell(about 15 minutes). Bake until done at 180 °c . For me it was 10 minutes. 

This dough is also suitable for baking russian borodinsky bread.

Raw vegan candy balls

One gloomy morning my little glutton inside me wanted something sweet, and we made these no-bake raw vegan candy balls.

Ingredients:

  • Banana – 1
  • Kiwifruit – 1
  • Cacao – how much you want, i added 5 tbsp
  • Dates – 7
  • Sesame for topping

If you want a more sweet taste, can add any liquid sweetener such as maple syrup, agave nectar or liquid Stevia.

Preparation:

Blend all ingredients. Then make balls from our dough and gently roll the balls in the sesame seeds. Done!

Place in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes or can eat now.

Review Germline sprouter

I’d like to share my experience with salad sprouter by Germline. Briefly, I want to say, it’s a real user-friendly tool even for beginner. If you want to know more about sprouting, I’ve written here before.

Let’s begin:

Germline sprouter

Made from? – Safe materials. Glass tested BPA and bisphenol A&phthalate free. Made in France.

How it works: The sprouter comprises 3 parts: A lid, two growing trays, a draining rack. Before using it, prepare your seeds (soaking time), for each growing trays take about 1tbsp of seeds. Place your germs onto the growing trays, then rinse them under cold water. After rinsing, leave your trays on the draining rack about 15 min. Then let your germs enjoy fresh air}}salad sprouter

Germination time depends from type of seeds. Don’t forget rinse your trays twice a day.

 

P.S. After harvest, I’m not recommended to keep your sprouts in the fridge more than 2 days.

I’m going to talk about Sprouting, such a lovely method to have health in your hands. Try once and will never want to stop!}Sprouting

What does it give? – Your own little healthy garden. It’s no secret that products supplied to shops may contain pesticides, also chemical fertilizers. But you can grow a lot of seeds, beans, have greens and herbs in your home without chemicals. It’s pure living energy, a gift for your health and for your beauty. Use your harvest for juice (famous magic wheatgrass juice), add to bakery, salad, soup, sandwich, wherever you want.

How does it work? What I’ll need? – Water and again water. You can use special sprouter, sprouting trays, jars etc. But for first time an ordinary saucer, a little cotton will be enough. Each type of seeds/beans/greens has different germination time. Usually it’s written on the packaging. First step – soak. Soaking time can be from 2h until whole night. Second – germination. Germination time from 1 day and how long you need. And finally you’ll enjoy it.
